stilando un inventario ideale dell’identità cittadina: impavida, guerriera e determinata, come quest’uomo che atterra il nemico e difende la bandiera.

The powerful shapes of Piety, Value, Art and Industry mark the two ends of the bridge that once was a real and proper entry into town for anyone coming in from the nearby hills. The four statues seem to present as the bearers of Turin ethics, offering an ideal inventory of the town’s identity – brave, fighting and resolute, as this warrior who is knocking down the enemy to defend his flag.
