L’irrequietezza fu il segno distintivo di quest’uomo, che fece molti mestieri prima di darsi al giornalismo, di cui divenne presto penna arguta e battagliera. Al suo busto si addice la compagnia di un giovane fiero (la Libertà) che regge la bandiera dell’Italia e nella mano destra stringe un lapis.

Restlessness was the distinctive sign of this man, who lived a whole series of different jobs before becoming a journalist, an occupation that soon made him a very pugnacious and humorous writer. His bust is well accompanied by proud young Freedom holding the Italian flag in one hand and a pencil in the other.
