Come vela gonfiata dal vento, così il bronzo spinto dal desiderio della lettura prende forma umana. Maschile e femminile, concavo e convesso, si fondono qui in un abbraccio che coinvolge corpo e libro, lettore e parola scritta. Sbuca dalla veste un piede e accenna un passo, pronto a dire addio alla fonderia dov’è nato per inseguire, forse, un sogno nato tra le pagine di un libro, tentando un’avventura in prima persona sulla scia di un eroe di carta.

Like a sail filled by wind, thus does bronze, urged by the desire to read, take on human form. Male or female, concave or convex, they merge in an embrace which envelopes both the body and the book, the reader and the written word. A foot peeps out from under the gown as if to take a step, ready to say goodbye to the  foundry before following a dream that came into being within the pages of a book, perhaps, attempting an adventure of its own, in the footsteps of a paper hero.
