November 6th 2003 - Associazione Veneti nel Mondo (Association of Venetians throughout the world)
A delegation from "Associazione Veneti nel mondo", led by the Mayor of Nova Veneza and by the Deputy Mayor of Urussanga, was received by the Vice Director for the Promotion of the City, Tourism and the Olympics, with the aim of promoting new contacts with local institutions and representatives of industry and crafts.
October 22nd 2003 – Italian Consul to Vancouver
The Italian Consul to Vancouver was received by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino to discuss the possibility of developing contacts between Canada and Italy, particularly in view of the 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games and the Games in Vancouver in 2010.
May 14th – 18th 2003 - Ambassador of Canada and Consul of Canada
The Ambassador of Canada and the Consul of Canada were received by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino to discuss the possibility of developing contacts between Canada and Italy, particularly in view of the 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games and the Games in Vancouver in 2010.
March 13th – 14th 2003 – State of Utah (U.S.A.)
A delegation from the State of Utah led by the Director from the Division for the Development of Utah and the Vice President from the Chamber of Commerce of Salt Lake City was received by the Vice Director for the Promotion of the City, Tourism and the Olympics and the Director of the Olympic Department, to discuss the possibility of developing cooperation at an institutional level.
