November 11th 2004 - City of Vancouver (Canada)
A delegation from the City of Vancouver and British Columbia led by the Deputy Mayor Brent McGregor met the Town Councillor for Olympic Games, Elda Tessore. The exchanges between Torino 2006 and Vancouver 2010 were discussed.
June 22nd 2004 - City of Sault St. Marie (Toronto - Canada)
A delegation from the City of Sault St. Marie - Toronto- composed of the Mayor John Rowswell, the Director of the Department of Economic Development John Febbraro and nine representatives of local industries, were received by the Vice President of the City Council Michele Coppola. This was an institutional meeting, part of an economic mission to Italy.
June 10th 2004 - City of Santa Fé (Argentina)
The Councillor for Labour and Training Policies, Tom Dealessandri, received the Minister for Production and Foreign Trade from the Province of Santa Fé Roberto A. Ceretto, the Mayor of Santa Fé Martin Balbarrey, the President of the Port Administration of Santa Fé Benito Correnti, the President of the Industrial Union Hugo Raimondi and the President of the Bolsa de Commerce, together with the Director of the newspaper El Litoral, Gustavo Vittori. A representative of OffiChina Urbana Buenos Aires. It was an institutional meeting, held within an economic mission by the Argentinean delegation.
February 13th 2004 - Ambassador of Chile
The Ambassador of Chile, José Goni, was received by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. During the meeting they discussed the celebrations for the centenary of the birth of Pablo Neruda. The Consul of Chile to Milano, Fernando Ayala and the Honorary Consul of Chile to Torino, Vivien Jones were also present.
January 14th 2004 - Ambassador of Uruguay and the Consul of Uruguay
The Ambassador of Uruguay, Carlos Alejandro Barros Oreiro and the Consul of Uruguay, Alfredo Bogliaccini Llambi were received by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. The President of Torino Wireless Rodolfo Zich was also present, during the meeting they discussed exchanges between Torino and Uruguay for advanced training and scientific research programmes.
