Agreement with Shenzhen (China)
The Memorandum of Intentions between the City of Turin and the City of Shenzhen, signed on 18th September 2006, was followed by a cooperation agreement signed on 12th January 2007 by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino and the Mayor Xu Zongheng in order to promote economic, commercial, technological-scientific and town-planning exchanges as well as in the domains of culture, education, sport and environmental protection.

DELEGATIONS
- March 15th 2012: le Président du Conseil Municipal de la Ville de Torino Giovanni Maria Ferraris a rencontré un groupe d'étudiants de Shenzhen.
- April 8th-9th 2011: the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Giovanni Maria Ferraris, met the Vice President of the Municipal Congress Guangming Zhou.
- April 28th 2010: the Office of the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino welcomed a group of university students from Shenzhen.
- April 8th 2009: the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell'Utri, welcomed a group of university students from Shenzhen.
- November 30th 2007: the International Affairs Department of the City of Torino met a delegation from the Municipality of Shenzhen - District of Nanshan on the occasion of a visit organised by the Centro Esteri per l'Internazionalizzazione del Piemonte.
- January 12th-16th 2007: the Mayor of Torino Sergio Chiamparino welcomed the Mayor of the City of Shenzhen, Xu Zongheng.
- September 17th-19th 2006: the Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, International Relations and Cooperation of the City of Torino Michele Dell´Utri met the Deputy Major of Shenzhen Zhuo Qinrui.
- December 13th 2005: a delegation of the City of Shenzhen, together with the President of the Chamber of Commerce of Brescia Francesco Bettoni, met the representatives of the International Affairs Department.
