Agreement with Tirana (Albania)
The City of Torino, through the person of Mayor Sergio Chiamparino, and the Albanian City of Tirana, through its Mayor Edi Rama, on 1st October 2009 signed a Letter of Intents, aiming to promote the collaboration between the two cities, specifically as far as e-government, Information and Communication Technology and Public Administration are concerned and that opens the way to start up new relations between Tirana and Torino in the computerization department.

DELEGATIONS
- January 18th-23rd 2010: the City of Torino hosted some of the executives of the public administration of the Albanian city.
- April 24th 2009: the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell'Utri, met a delegation from the Polytechnic of Tirana led by the Rector Jorgaq Kacani.
- October 16th 2008: the Mayor of the City of Torino Sergio Chiamparino, the Chairman of the City Council Giuseppe Castronovo, the Prefect Paolo Padoin and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Demographic, Electoral, Statistical services, Cooperation and International Affairs of the City of Torino, Michele Dell'Utri, met the President of the Republic of Albania Bamir Topi, visiting Torino to implement the relations among Politecnico, Universitą di Torino and University of Tirana.
