The Fondazione Accorsi’s Museum of Decorative Arts opened on the 3rd December 1999, thanks to the will of the antique dealer Pietro Accorsi (Turin, 1891-1982), one of the most important European art dealer in the XX century.

In the 27 rooms of the museum the visitors can find over 2000 objects realised during the XVIII century: the masterpiece is the secrétaire-cabinet inlayed with different precious kind of wood, ivory and turtle, dated and signed by the great artist Pietro Piffetti (1701-1777) in 1738. Another rare secrétaire-cabinet is the one built in the second half of the XVIII century and entirely covered by majolica coming from the Pesaro manufacture, in the center of Italy.
