This museum is the first of its kind in Europe, and Turin's oldest museum. It was founded at the Royal Arsenal by King Charles Emmanuel III in 1731, for the benefit of the young artillery men studying at the School of Theory founded by Ignazio Bertola. The importance of the collection, which contains exhibits from throughout the world, including some of great value, puts the museum in the forefront among similar museums in the world.

Museo Storico Nazionale dell'Artiglieria is part of “Percorsi d’arte e di cultura”:
Dark Blue route
Via Garibaldi and its surroundings: the Roman road, hints of military history and commitment to solidarity
