Description: LEA project’s target is to accelerate and share knowledge, dialog and awareness based on the innovative procurement, within the learning technology sector, by creating a European wide learn-tech procurers’ network. LEA is the first joint European PPI (Public Procurement of Innovative solutions) in the educational sector and will be providing excellent opportunities for innovation procurement in this sector. These innovative processes put users in a leading role as far as technology development is concerned. The project brings competitive advantage to EU companies providing innovation at business level. Solutions created by PPI can have valuable social impact, e.g. early identification of school dropouts and steering pupils towards STEM careers. LEA will prepare a PPI call for tender continuing the challenges identified in the previous PCP (Pre-Commercial Procurement) “IMAILE” project as well as one extra PCP.
