International exchange of information and experiences about sustainable tourism. Each organisation or physical person adhering to the Association aims at studying tourism, becoming a reference for sustainable tourism world-wide. Therefore, the organisations or persons adhering to the Association meet for annual conferences in the head office cities or in the associate cities, organising tourists, sports, cultural and social events on an international level. The city of Chamonix is the seat of the Association and also its funding member. Turin is part of the Association since 2000.
