The Deputy Mayor in charge of Environment, Energy, Technological Development and Public Green of the City of Torino Stefania Giannuzzi went on a mission to Seville in order to take part in the conference "Jornada de Economía Circular. El compromiso de las ciudades”, promoted by the Federation of Spanish Municipalities and Provinces and the City of Seville.
On that occasion several European local administrations, including the City of Torino, discussed and signed the Declaration of Seville to support circular economy, whose focus is recycling: a model which focuses on the sustainability of the system, where there is no waste and the materials are constantly reused. It's a system which is opposite to the one defined as "linear", that produces waste from materials.
