The Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Labour, Tourism, Contracts, Procurement, Supplies and Legal Affairs of the City of Torino Alberto Sacco led a mission to Lyon, since a stand of the Piedmont Region at SIRHA, Lyon's fair dedicated to food and hospitality, to promote the culinary delights of our territory.
The delegation also assisted to the final of the fine cooking contest Bocuse d'Or 2017 and then met its Director, as well as the Director General of the international network Délice, to define some organisational aspects of the European 2018 edition of the Bocuse d'Or, to be held precisely in Torino.
The delegation also met Alain Galliano, Vice President of Lyon Métropole, Christophe Meunier, Deputy Mayor in charge of International Affairs of Lyon Métropole, Fouziya Bouzerda, Deputy Mayor in charge of Commerce, Craftmanship and Economic Development of the City of Lyon, with whom new possibilities for cooperation were discussed, as well as the possibility to renew the Cooperation Agreement recently expired between the two cities, as well as Mirco Iadarola, Secretary General of the Italian Chamber of Commerce in Lyon.
