The City of Torino welcomed, on October 20th at the Teatro Vittoria, Juha Pentikäinen, Professor of nordic Ethnography and Science of Religion at the University of Lapland and Helsinki, who inaugurated a cycle of conferences to present his last paper "The Kalevala mythology".

The conference held in Torino was about the Finnish female epic in the Kalevala and the mythology of Marina Takalo and the Professor gave the speech "Myths on women, chants of women". The event was organised by the Minuski Association.
