The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Amb. Franco Giordano, Diplomatic Advisor of the City of Torino, met the Secretary General of the Italian Foreign Affairs Ministry, Amb. Michele Valensise.

 during its stay the Secretary met the representatives of local economic and cultural institutions, as well as the boards of UN Staff College, UNICRI, ILO, ETF and the Consular Corps of Torino. He then took part in the press conference of the Mayor at the City Hall about the programme of events from Torino in New York at the end of the year on the occasion of the Year of Italian Culture in the United States and gave a lecture at the lecture hall of the Campus "L.Einaudi".
