The Banlieues d'Europe network carried out in Torino its 19th meeting, entitled "The Role of Culture Faced with the Rise of Nationalism in Europe".

Banlieues d'Europe is a European Cultural Network bringing together cultural actors, artists, social workers, local councillors and researchers and promoting cultural action projects in Europe in deprived neighbourhoods. During the three days of debate, November 21st, 22nd and 23rd, the confrontation among researchers, field actors, artists and politicians focused on different forms of Cultural projects in Europe fighting against the rise of nationalism and against xenophobia. The event was realized in collaboration with the City of Torino and District 2.
