The Mayor of the City of Torino Piero Fassino and the Deputy Mayor in charge of Urban Regeneration, Integration and European Funds of the City of Torino Ilda Curti took part in the conference on protecting the victims of gender violence whose main theme was "Women who suffered violence and abuses, how can they be protected? How can they be compensated?" and which was organised at the Palagiustizia by the International Observatory for Victims of Violence (I.O.V.V.), created in Torino following the Final Resolution of the International Women's Forum adopted in Volgograd, back in March 2012.
