October 24th-25th 2013 Ghana Investment Promotion Business Forum

Following the previous visits of the Ghanaian Embassy in Italy to Torino, the city of Torino, the Chamber of Commerce of Torino, the Embassy of Ghana in Italy and the Honorary Consulate of Ghana in Torino, in collaboration with Unione Industriale and API Torino, organised, on October 25th at the Congress Centre Torino Incontra, a forum for local firms aiming at presenting the investment opportunities in Ghana. A large public took part in the initiative. 

The President of the Municipal Council of the City of Torino Giovanni Maria Ferraris, together with all the other authorities representing each territory, institutionally welcomed the audience in the beginning of the forum, which then continued until the economic presentation of Ghana by the Minister in charge of Investments of the Republic of Ghana Mawuena Trebarh and by the staff of the Embassy of Ghana in Italy and ended with some Piedmont-Ghana succes stories and a networking session of business to business meetings. The Ghanaian delegation, led by the Ambassador of Ghana in Italy Evelyn Anita Stokes-Hayford, together with the Honorary Consul of Ghana in Torino Salvatore De Fazio, was previously welcomed, on October 24th, by the Deputy Mayor in charge of Labour, Commerce, Productive Activities of the City of Torino Domenico Mangone in order to discuss cooperation opportunities between the two territories.
