The City of Torino, together with the US Consulate General in Milan, organized a workshop addressed to a specialized public focusing on welcoming plans and having as keynote speaker David Lubell, founder of "Welcoming America", an immigrant welcoming movement. The Deputy Mayor in charge of Welfare of the City of Torino Sonia Schellino gave the opening speech.
