What is web 2.0

There are many different definitions for Web 2.0: some of them, all equally valid, can be read on Wikipedia.
Generally speaking, web 2.0 defines an evolution of the World Wide Web, as opposed to traditional web features such as static web pages with periodically updated content, e-mails, chats and message boards. Web 2.0 is best represented by 3 key pillars: Interactivity, development of Social Networks, User Experience Improvement; this way, users are able to generate and organize online content.
On this page, a number of Web 2.0 services provided by the City of Turin are listed.

The City of Turin web 2.0 services

Users registered on Torinofacile, the citizen's personal services portal, can assign one or more "tags" (small definitions) to pages they find interesting and useful. This operation is used later to trigger a tailored search that reflects the association between tags and pages. The citizens can hence use the words they deem more appropriate, independently from the language used by the Public Administration.
