Appeal for Truce in Sarajevo. Presentation of the project for clearing landmines from Olympic sites. Sarajevo 25-27 October 2005

The metropolitan Mayor of Sarajevo and the Mayors of the municipalities that the Bosnian capital is now divided into (Starigrad, Centar, Novi Grad and Srpsko Sarajevo) will join with members of the cultural milieu and, together, will sign the Appeal for the Olympic Truce. On the occasion, a project will be presented for clearing landmines from the areas of the two battle fronts of Mount Trebevic, formerly the site of the 1984 Olympic Games.
The event concludes with the showing of a number of short films by young directors from Sarajevo, Mostar and Banja Luka on the subject of the truce and conflicts.
