Religions and sport. Vision of the body and the practice of sport. Torino 21-22 September 2005

The Interfaith Committee of Torino 2006 (an inter-religious committee, made up of representatives of the principal religions of the world - Christian, Jewish, Hindu, Muslim and Buddhist - that provides athletes and members of the Olympic family with spiritual aid during the Games) is staging an inter-cultural and inter-religious meeting to exchange views on relations between their vision of the body and, in general of mankind, and the theory and practice of sport in the modern world.
The two-day event will be preceded by a reading of the Interfaith Olympic Message by members of the Interfaith Committee.
The conference is part of the "Torino Spirituality. Questions to God. Questions to mankind" initiative.
