Wines
Wine wrote the history of the hills, the farms and fine Piedmontese cuisine. The traditional wine list has some world-famous reds: Dolcetto, Barbera, excellent for first courses, Nebbiolo, Barbaresco and Barolo, ideal for red meats.
There are some worthy whites too – like Cortese, Roero Arneis, Gavi or Erbaluce – that will enhance an aperitif or fish-based dishes. Dessert marries well with rosés like Malvasia and Brachetto, or evergreens like Moscato and Spumante.
