The 2011/2012 Season is divided into two parts. The first unwinds during 2011, the year of the 150th anniversary of Italian Unity and, like a cinematographic lap dissolve, the end overlaps with a new start. The Museo Nazionale del Cinema is to screen cinematic masterpieces in a series of monthly events. The films will range from the golden age of classical cinema, to silent film and the nouvelle vagues, using remastered copies from the most important film libraries around the world.
