IED – European Institute of Design

For forty years, the European Institute of Design has worked in the fields of Training and Research, dealing with the subjects of Design, Fashion, the Visual Arts and Communication.

Today, it is a continually expanding international network, which organises three-year post-diploma courses, refresher and permanent training courses, advanced courses and post-graduate Master’s degree courses.

Since 1966, IED has been developing innovative and diversified educational programmes, centred on the synergy between technology and experimentation, integrated creativity, strategy and communication, and market aspects and new professional capacities.
The aim of the European Institute of Design is to provide young Design, Fashion and Communications professionals with knowledge and effective tools, so that they can respond to the continually developing demands of the working world: an Education in Design and Communications that will guide them throughout their lives.

The link between knowledge and know-how is the indispensable premise for the growth and development of cultural, creative and critical skills, which represent the basic objective of IED training.

The centre in Torino, established more than eighteen years ago, plays host to approximately 800 students a year, from Italy and abroad, offering the possibility to study in an international environment, favourable to cultural exchanges.
