“Made in Turin” is also making its mark in fashion, a sector that has a long history in the city of the Mole. Turin organized the first Fashion Fair in Italy and it is where many of the most important Italian companies in this sector developed. The city was the home of GFT – Gruppo Finanziario Tessile – who produced apparel for over two decades for great names like Armani or Valentino.
Now the city hosts some of the most important fashion clothing and accessories labels, including prestigious Borbonese for leather accessories; Brooksfield for smart sportswear, Robe di Kappa and Superga on the sportswear front.
Fashion is always on the go in Turin. In recent years a new generation of stylists has emerge in this field with some successful labels: Jaggy, Kristina Ti, Fisico, Sabelt, and the Eva Herzigova label.
