If Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini cars have found so many devoted fans, the reason lies mainly in the flair and creativity of Torinese car designers who have successfully powered the “four-wheel dream”: Bertone, Giugiaro, Pininfarina. These prestigious classic names are now flanked by important newcomers like I.de.a Institute and Carcerano Design.
New skill and professionalism are developed in Turin’s research and design training centres: from industrial design courses to Automotive Engineering degrees, promoted by the Polytechnic, the IED-European Design Institute and the Institute of Applied Art and Design.
