EAR, acronim of Easy Appointment Reservation, while the Italian name is "Sportellofacile", is an opensource application that lets users book appointments at frontdesk services or resources.
The project, released under GLP license for a Perl/MySQL environment, authenticates users by access to corporate
LDAP, or MySQL db, or, as a fast registration option, by one-time password received through an SMS message
(SMS gateway is a commercial external service).
The service offers the opportunity to get a simple reminder in your email and/or on your mobile.
At booked time the users will be called, from the frontdesk operator, ordered by registration number.
The administration component lets administrator to define multiple frontdesks, each one with his own time
properties, and to have detailed reports.
In a similar way, this application may be used to book any other resources.
