Gypsy cinema does not exist.
Or rather, it is a nomadic cinema that varies nationalities, production companies, characters.
There exists a cinematographic image of the Gypsies that changes, depending on the frame of reference of those depicting it.
There is a bright and vital image, which is loud and fiery (Kusturica is the best example), as there is a view that is painful and melancholy (Tony Gatlif).

A selection of the best films regarding the world of the Gypsies.
Most have been poorly distributed, if at all.
An encounter with and a debate on a nomadic and fleeting cinematographic identity.
