Bedouin epics.
With rebab accompaniment the
adventures of Abou Zeid Al Hilali,
"black as a crow", hero of epic songs of the 10th century,
recount the arrival of nomadic Arab tribes in North Africa.
In Turkey, the Rom are master clarinetists.
They reserve
the festive repertoire of regional dances
and music from the ancient cafés of Istanbul.
In the old districts, this music accompanies a wide ange
of eastern dances.
