Geared to children
of all ages

This fablesque performance based on a 1910 edition
reflects the realism in operetta of the age, and skillfully
depicts the themes of western folk tradition. The
marionette version uses the féerie (recited parts
alternated with sung parts and musical parts)
to present the fames tale by Perrault. Song and music
are often ironic and surprising as they highlight
the show. The sumptuousness of the production
lends a fable-like atmosphere, from an epoch when
fables flourished.

Performance for
kids ages 5-10

Animalus Pianistus is an animal with 10 fingers that answers questions by desperately striking the keys of a piano belonging to Professor Cantabile, who wishes to gain more precise information on the animal he’s looking for, the Sopranus Foldingus.
A funny series of scenes in this nowhere dialogue.

The Musical Journey of the Gypsies
India: acrobats, bards, musicians
and dancers from Rajasthan

Assigned Seating € 15

leaves a comment

Presenting artists that belong to the last
migrant castes of Rajasthan, the show is
a journey to the origins of the Rom people.
Even today, in the villages of the Thar desert,
a multitude of artist families continue to
transmit a culture that has known the splendor
of precious gems in ancient palaces and the
harshness of the rocks of the desert.
Jugglers, jogi women’s songs, chakri dances,
bhopa nayak bards, manghaniyar and langa
singers, bring you to the roots of an art that
has always been the heritage of the Gypsies.
