Today it is a river, but once it was a man named Aci, who lived in Sicily, and loved, a loved again, the beautiful Galatea. The cyclops Polyphemus, crazed with jealousy, hurled a boulder at Aci and killed him.
But he was reborn in the form of a river.

In 2000 pianist Michelangelo Decorato created the Circle Trio. More recently, over the past two years various saxophonists have been brought into the line-up.
The band's current formation features Fabrizio Scarafile.
The performance serves up original compositions and standards, creating a continuous flow in which, as Zawinul liked to put it, "everybody and nobody improvises".
