On 19 May 2015 the Mayor of Torino Piero Fassino and the Mayor of Yangon Hla Myint signed a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize the different activities between the two cities, among which exchanges in the fields of trade and services, tourism, social services, environment, local democracy, culture and arts.
