October 7th 2003 - Chinese Consul in Milano
The Mayor received the Chinese Consul in Milano and during the meeting they discussed the ways in which economic relations between China and the Torino area can be improved.
September 3rd 2003 - Mayor of Hiroshima (Japan)
The Mayor of Torino met the Mayor of Hiroshima for the presentation of a Peace project entitled Mayors for Peace in which the City of Torino has decided to take part.
June 12th - 13th 2003 - City of Huè (Vietnam)
The Councillor for Rates and Resources received a delegation from the City of Hué led by President of the People's Council from the City of Hué to discuss tourist exchanges, student exchange visits and trade projects.
March 28th 2003 - City of Shenyang (China)
A delegation from the City of Shenyang, received by the Comune di Torino, met with representatives of the FIAT Group.
March 17th 2003 - Ambassador of India
The Mayor of Torino and the Councillor for Culture received the Ambassador
of India, with whom they discussed opportunities for developing new areas
of cooperation.
They also discussed the promotion of commercial dealings between India
and the Torino area.
February 20th 2003 - Province of Kyonggi (South Korea)
The Vice Director for the Promotion of the City, Tourism and the Olympics received a delegation from the Province of Kyonggi and during the meeting they discussed the possibility of extending economic relations, evaluating the possibility of promoting companies from the Torino area in South Korea.
February 11th 2003 - Ambassador of Japan
The Mayor of Torino received the Ambassador of Japan and the Consul of
Japan to discuss the development of relations between Japan and Italy,
and the promotion of
economic cooperation, above all in the automobile and design departments,
between Torino and the City of Nagoya.
February 6th - 8th 2003 - Ambassador from the People's Republic of China
The Mayor of Torino received the Ambassador from the People's Republic of China. During the meeting the opportunities for developing relations between China and Italy were evaluated, particularly in consideration of the 2006 Torino Olympic Winter Games and the Olympic Games in Beijing 2008.
