A delegation of officers from the Immigration Cabinet of the City of Barcelona, visiting Turing for some technical meetings concerning integration-related issues, met the representatives of different City's Departments and the Deputy Mayor charged of Integration Policies Ilda Curti.
The Mayor of the City of Turin Sergio Chiamparino met the new Consul General of Federal Republic of Germany during his visit to Turin.
A huge delegation, led by the Deputy-Minister for Foreign Affairs of Rumania Mihai Gheorghiu, by the Mayor of Bacau Romeo Stavarache and By the Consul General of Rumania in Milan, met the Mayor of Turin Sergio Chiamparino and the Deputy Major charged of Integration Policies Ilda Curti. The discussion focused on problems and projects concerning the Rumanian community settled in Turin's area, future featurings, even within the picture of the forthcoming entry of Rumania in the European Union.
A delegation of more than 50 peoples, involving Mayors and Officers from the Metropolitan area of Barcelona, led by the Director General of Commerce of the Catalan Government and by the Vice President of the District of Barcelona, met the representatives of different City's Departments and the Deputy Mayor charged of Productive Activities Alessandro Altamura in order to study in depth the organization of general markets in Turin.
Turin welcomed a delegation composed of representatives of the Chamber of Commerce from Valencia and Valencia district, teachers and enterprises trainers for interested in the activities of the Assessorship for Sport Promotion of the City of Turin, in the activities occurred during the Winter Olympics and in the activities expected for the future.
Torino hosted a delegation composed by ten architects from the Netherlands interested in the urban transformation of the city and in the Olympic venues.

A delegation of architects and city planners from Hamburg, during their visit to the architectural works in Turin, met the Deputy Mayor in charge of City Planning Mario Viano, for a presentation of the City´s projects in this sphere.
A delegation made of about forty technicians of the Urban Development Department of The Hague, came to Turin in order to study in detail Turin´s road network and town planning projects.
The International Affairs Department organised, for about forty engineering students from Paris, a series of meetings in order to discuss about questions related to the Olympic event , about ecological architecture and about the urban transformations of the city.

The Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, International Relations and Co-operation Michele Dell´Utri met a delegation led by the President of the Savoy General Council, on the occasion of their visit to Turin in order to study the restoration works on the historical buildings.
The Consul General of Bulgaria in Milan Ivo Ivanov met the Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, International Relations and Co-operation Michele Dell´Utri.
The first EU Commissioner of Czech Republic Pavel Telicka met the Deputy Mayor in charge of Youth, International Relations and Co-operation Michele Dell´Utri.
The Ambassador of the Slovak Republic in Italy H.E. Stanislav Vallo had a meeting with the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. The meeting focused on the future perspectives of collaboration between Torino and some cities of the Slovak Republic.
A delegation coming from the Rumanian district of Bihor and made up of the Mayors of seven Rumanian cities has been welcomed by the City of Torino. The meeting focused on the future collaborations as regards to European projects concerning Public Administration, Information System, tourism and urban regeneration.
The President of the City Council, Alessandro Altamura, met the Deputy
Mayor of the City of Riga, Almers Ludviks.
The meeting focused on the organisation of the Chess Olympic Games, since
Riga is the candidate host city for 2010.
A delegation coming from Zlín and composed by the representatives of the movie sector from the Czech city (including the Director of the Filmschool, the Director of the Student Film Festival and the Director of the International Film Festival for Children and Youth) met various representatives from Turin institutions, among which: the Deputy Mayor´s Office for Culture, Sottodiciotto Festival (Under18 Festival), the National Cinema Museum, Virtual Reality and Multimedia Park, Torino Film Festival and Film Commission. This delegation´s visit has been organised in the framework of the cooperation agreement between Torino and Zlín for the development in the movie sector.
A Greek delegation composed by some members of KEDKE (the homologue of the Italian Municipalities National Association - ANCI), among which the Mayor of Plastira, Dimitris Tsiantis, the Mayor of Ymittos, Dimitrios Argianas, the Mayor of Agios Dimitrios, Pantelis Eirhnakis and the Mayor of Ancient Olympia, Ioannis Skoularikis, met Vice Mayor Marco Calgaro to discuss about the Olympic Truce, and the President of ANCI Piedmont and Mayor of Rivalta, Amalia Neirotti. Moreover the delegation attended some technical meetings about the organisation of the Olympic Games and cooperation among Mediterranean cities.
The Mayor of Ekaterinburg Arkadij Cernetskij met Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. They discussed about future cooperation between the two cities in the economic and cultural fields.
A delegation from the German region of Thuringia headed by Ministry Dieter Althaus, was welcomed by Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. Theme of the meeting: the organisation of the Olympic Games, the future use of the Olympic venues and the transformations occurred in Torino, both from an urbanistic and demographic point of view.
Gérard Collomb, Mayor of Lyon, met Mayor Sergio Chiamparino. The meeting was about the development of the economic cooperation agreement signed in December 2004 by the Cities of Barcelona, Lyon and Torino.
The delegation composed by the Ambassador of Netherlands to Italy, Egbert Frederik Jacobs, and by the Consul General in Milan Nora Stehouwer van Jersel, was welcomed by the Mayor Sergio Chiamparino.
