Questa scultura abitabile in forma di cellula è la risposta dell’artista inglese ai giovani del quartiere, che desideravano un posto tutto loro, che fosse rifugio ma anche luogo di scambio, chiacchiere e sogno. Così è nata Totipotent, uno spazio ben definito e riparato, ma allo stesso tempo aperto e luminoso, il cui nome sembra evocare le infinite possibilità contenute in ogni incontro.

This inhabitable cell-shaped sculpture is the British artist’s reply to the youngsters of the quarter who wanted an area all for themselves, to be a refuge as well as a place for exchanging ideas, chatting and dreaming. This is how Totipotent was born – a well-defined and protected area, open and well lit-up at the same time, and whose name seems to evoke the endless opportunities offered at every meeting.
