In Città: Sponsor Village and Atrium Torino

During the Olympic Games, Piazza Solferino will host the Sponsor Village and Atrium Torino.

Sponsor Village

The Sponsors Village is where the most important Olympic sponsors (Coca Cola, Eurosport, FIAT, General Electric, Johnson & Johnson, Panasonic, Samsung, Sanpaolo bank, and Torino Licensing) will provide entertainment, concerts, sports activities and information on the Olympic events, every day from 10.00 to 24.00 hrs.

This area, closed to traffic, will act as a lounge area for welcoming visitors, athletes and local residents, giving them the chance to experience the atmosphere of the Turin 2006 XX Olympic Winter Games, as stars of the show.

Atrium Torino

At the heart of the Sponsors Village, the Atrium will act as the focal point of welcome and information for visitors.

In particular, one of the two pavilions will be a window on the City of Turin, the Province of Turin and the Piedmont Region. Inside, an exciting trail will lead visitors in the discovery of the history, art, culture, architecture and the best in wines and foods from around our region.

The other pavilion is dedicated to the Sanpaolo bank, one of the main Olympic sponsors.

At the centre of the piazza, will be the ice-skating rink.

Open everyday from 10.00 to 24.00 hrs.
