my name is Gianfabio Cappello, and i'm a drum player. I took my degree in percussions at Conservatorio di Torino. I began studying drums at the age of 9 with Giorgio Gandino, then with Bruno Astesana e and with Marco Volpe. In 1988 i went to the teacher Walter Calloni with whom I collaborated in a stage in 1989 at Milan In the same time I studied at Conservatorio and at Liceo artistico, where in 1991 I took my degree. I played with a lot of groups of all genders: rock, funky, fusion, Jazz and Italian music. I recorded jingle for Radio Centro 95 c.n.r. and I get part in a show on jazz called "Blue Train":. In 1992 I recorded a CD with the Fancy-Fluid; his title is è "King’s Journey", Musea editions. I won the contest "I Big di Torino Sette" category Jazz 93/94 put on by LA STAMPA. In classical music I played at Teatro Regio di Torino, at RAI sinphonic orchestra of Turin and at The Coral Academy "Stefano Tempia" of Turin.
