MUSEO VIRTUALE DEL POLITECNICO DI TORINO

The virtual museum was launched on 29 March 1999. It presents on the Internet the collections of historical interest which testify to the School for Applied Engineering at Castello di Valentino merged and formed an association with the italian Industrial Museum (1862).
In the virtual museum you can see construction and machine models, scientific instruments, and testing equipment. But more than this the Virtual Museum offers insights into the history of the places and buildings, which have made Turin a "polytechnic city".
The museum is completed by a gallery of biographies, a rich comparative chronology, a reference bibliography and search engines to guide your path through the hundreds of pages and illustrations.
