FORTE DI EXILLES
The
majestic building characterises the landscape of the Susa Valley. The
fort is firstly its own museum and a wide-ranging tour leads the visitor
through to the discovery of the monument. The exhibition spaces in the
interior of the building set the scene of the life of a soldier in the
mountains and the evolution of the building over the centuries.
The fort is jointly run by the Piedmont Region and National Mountain Museum.
