An
imposing Baroque building that was part of a grandiose design, developed
in 1718 by Filippo Juvarra for King Victor Amedeo II, but never finished.
The castle was restored by Bruno, and in 1984 became the seat of the Museum
of Contemporary Art. The permanent collection contains works by European
and American artists, some of which were made specifically for the spaces
in the museum, while others were created in the artist's studio and then
set up here. The museum also offers a rich calendar of temporary exhibitions.
