Oenogastronomic
tourism
The tourism of the wine has spread
in California, South Africa and Australia thanks to the most
recent "Wine Day": the last Sunday of May the plants
and the wine cellars are open to the public. In Italy it was
born in 1993 and it finds propitious land thanks to the natural
inclination of the Country to the cultivation of the grape,
above all in the areas of more consolidated grape production
(Langhe, Monferrato, Roman Castles, and so on). Moreover the
"Movement Tourism of the Wine", an association of
entrepreneurs, has spread the tasting habit in the typical
places of the production. Also the world of the typical handicraft
has much to earn from such movement of the wine, in fact stimulating
the visit to the wine cellars it starts a "vituous circuit"
of purchases of traditional manufactured items.
