DISCO REVIVAL "This is a gold quarter!!" Marco has worked in San Salvario for 27 years, since when at the age of 15 he started helping his father in his activity as record collector. He still looks like a kid: bright and lively eyes, a ready smile and a passion for his job! "We immediately began to sell second hand records, later we passed to CDs.We sell second hand CDs at 10 euro and we buy them back at 6,50!" Observing the shop windows you clearly perceive Marco's passion for music: an artist called Habo has joined in a drawing the labels of some of the most famous records in the world... Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, Velvet Underground... The shop is small but well furnished: wooden shelves exhibit the CDs grouped by musical type, whilst covers of famous LPs decorate the ceiling. "Our clientele is mixed and classics are always the most frequently sold records!! It's weird to see many Africans buying country music... its white men's music par excellence!"
