CONFETTERIA BARATTI E MILANO
Opened in 1858, it was moved to Piazza Castello in 1875. It is one of the most prestigious historical coffee houses in Turin. Attended by the high society, it was mentioned by Guido Gozzano in one of his early 20th century poems.The façade,marbles, furnishings and ornaments have been recently restored!

CAFFÉ MULASSANO
Another historical coffee house. It's quite small, has a cosy atmosphere, the clientele is elegant and intellectual. Its marbles and decorations are wonderful. Opened in 1907, it is famous for its "tramezzino" (a small triangular sandwich without a crust), which was invented here: ideal when you don't want to eat too much.

A good coffee for people who wake up very early or keep late hours. In fact the coffee house is open all night long, especially at the weekends... its waiters are very polite and the customers are usually night-people!
