The Informagiovani centres are public services for young people that provide information of all kinds, on subjects of interest to them.
The information furnished is free, reliable and varied.
In Italy, since 1981, over 1000 Informagiovani centres have opened in all the large cities and in many smaller cities and towns as well.

The Informagiovani centres, in addition to their main function of providing information, especially in the smaller municipalities, also serve a function of "listening", orientation, observation of the world of the young and organization and promotion of initiatives and projects of policies in favour of youth.

The documentation available consists of files, guides, books, brochures, leaflets, etc., and is divided into nine theme sectors: education, jobs, permanent education, professional training, social life, leisure time and culture, vacations, opportunities abroad and sports.
