Dal
19 aprile al 19 maggio Torino ha ospitato la seconda edizione della Biennale
Internazionale Arte Giovane, organizzata da Città di Torino, Provincia
di Torino e Regione Piemonte e diretta da Michelangelo Pistoletto.

artisti under 35 provenienti da tutto il mondo si sono misurati sul tema
BIG Social Game, fortemente voluto dal Direttore Artistico: un invito
rivolto ai giovani di ogni campo artistico che sentono oggi l'urgenza
di spingere la propria immaginazione verso idee di trasformazione sensibile
e responsabile. |

From
April 19th to May 19th, Turin has welcomed the 2nd International Biennial
of Young Art, organized by the City of Turin, the Province of Turin and
the Region of Piedmont and directed by Michelangelo Pistoletto.
350
international artists under 35 competed on the theme BIG Social Game,
demanded by the artistic director : an invitation to the young artists
who feel nowadays the urgent need to direct their own imagination towards
ideas of sensible and responsible change. BIG Social Game attracted about 65.000 persons who visited the Cavallerizza's exhibitions and the open air shows in the town centre, attended the other 200 dance, theatre, cinema and literature meetings and the artists' performances and tasted the international culinary specialities. Even the press rendered honours to BIG Torino 2002 : 290 accredited journalists were presents, including 49 foreign correspondents. |

specifico del cd-rom, la sezione Volume I presenta
17 articoli di testate straniere, 57 articoli di 33 quotidiani nazionali
e dei loro supplementi, 28 articoli di 17 settimanali e 52 articoli di

Il Volume II raccoglie i 110 articoli su BIG Torino 2002 pubblicati da
12 testate locali suddivise tra quotidiani e periodici; infine, il Volume

e dei 40 servizi realizzati dalle televisioni e radio nazionali e locali,
oltre alle 81 pagine web dedicate alla Biennale Internazionale Arte Giovane
da 71 portali e siti Internet.

newspapers and agencies; furthermore press releases from the other 70
broadcastings dedicated to the Biennial, such as local, national and international
television and radio programmes.

Volume I of this CD-Rom presents 17 articles from foreign newspapers,
57 articles from 33 Italian daily newspapers and their supplements, 28
articles from 17 weekly newspapers and 52 articles from 42 accredited
Italian monthly and periodical magazines in addition to the press releases
of the agencies. The Volume II gathers the 110 articles about BIG Torino
2002 published by 12 local daily and periodical newspapers. Finally the
Volume III presents signallings of the 7 accredited international TVs
and radios and of the 40 programmes produced by Italian televisions and
radios, in addition to 81 web pages dedicated to the International Biennial
of Young Art by 71 Internet websites.
