"DansX" è eXpressione, eXperienza, eXplorazione, eXposizione, eXecuzione... "Je t’aime", "Sfidato a sopravvivere in un luogo che cambia", "grande pesce/piccolo pesce", "Un genere complesso e robusto", "Mi piacciono i meloni" sono i cinque elementi dell’esecuzione che danno consistenza ed espressione alla storia del mio corpo. Ciascuno di essi rappresenta diverse esperienze di vita ed esplora lo spazio tra una scatola di legno ed il pubblico. Esposizione di spalle, fianchi, labbra e mani che culmina nell’esecuzione capitale di un melone rosso, "DansX" è una vera storia vivente.
DCM è una delle poche compagnie di danza rumene indipendenti, creata e diretta dal 1996 da Cosmin Manolescu. La compagnia, gestita dalla Fondazione Project DCM, sta lavorando progetto per progetto con artisti rumeni indipendenti e stranieri. 1999: durante il suo primo tour nazionale, ha presentato cinque esibizioni con "Journey through 2" e "DansX" (lavoro in corso) a Brasov, Constanta, Ploiesti, Sacele e Bucarest (Romania). La compagnia è stata invitata ad esibirsi con "Journey through 2" e "DansX" in Austria al Theater des Augenblicks, al Die Theatre Festival e al "Bravehearts" Festival, e in Germania, Festival "Mannover ’99", Loft Theatre di Leipzig. 1998: DCM è stato invitata a partecipare con "Journey through 2" al festival rumeno "Euro Dans" dove è stato insignita di un premio speciale offerto dalla Televisione Nazionale rumena.

"DansX" is Xpression, Xperience, Xploration, Xposure, Xecution…"Je t’aime", "Challenged to survive in a shifting place", "big fish/little fish", "a complex and robust genus", "I like melons" are the five elements of the piece which give flesh and expression to my body story. Each of them represents a different life experience and explores the space between a wooden box and the audience. Exposure of shoulders, hips, lips and hands which culminates with the execution of a red melon, "DansX" is a true live history.
DCM is one of the few independent Roumanian dance companies, formed in 1996 and directed since then by Cosmin Manolescu. The company, administered by the Project DCM Foundation, is working on a project basis with independent Romanian and foreign artists. 1999: during its first national tour, DCM presented five performances of "Journey through 2" and "DansX" (work in progress) in Brasov, Constanta, Ploiesti, Sacele and Bucharest (Roumania). The company was invited to present several performances with "Journey through 2" and "DansX" in Austria at the Theater des Augenblicks, the Die Theatre Festival and the "Bravehearts" Festival, and in Germany at the "Mannover ’99" Festival, Loft Theatre in Leipzig. 1998: DCM was invited to participate with "Journey through 2" in the Romanian festival "Euro Dans" where it was awarded a special prize by the Roumanian National Television.
