Un western all’italiana ambientato in terra di Langa, nato dalla lingua di Fenoglio dove gli uomini
parlano in modo brusco, stringato e le loro storie di gente qualsiasi sono dominate da parole e
gesti forti, ineluttabili che generano un testo potentissimo.
La vicenda è la cronaca di un fatto di sangue realmente accaduto nel 1933. Fatti che succedono
anche oggi, riempiono le colonne della cronaca nera per alcune settimane poi scompaiono, e in
quelle settimane la cronaca tende a suscitare scalpore, paura, stupore, quasi mai a comprendere.

An “Italian western” set in the land of Langa, born from the language of Fenoglio where men
they speak brusquely, concisely, and their stories of ordinary people are dominated by words and
strong, ineluctable gestures that generate a very powerful text.
The story is the chronicle of a bloody event that really happened in 1933. Facts that happen
even today, they fill the columns of the crime news for a few weeks then disappear, and in
those weeks the news tends to arouse a sensation, fear, amazement, almost never to understand.
