Scritta dal drammaturgo inglese Premio Nobel per la Letteratura Harold Pinter e debuttata nel 1978 a Londra, Tradimenti viene generalmente considerata una delle più celebri opere dell’autore. La storia è quella di una relazione extraconiugale ripercorsa però a ritroso, dalla sua fine fino ai suoi esordi. Tutto inizia due anni dopo la fine del rapporto e termina prima che esso abbia inizio. Ma, oltre ai due amanti c’è anche il marito di lei, nonchè migliore amico di lui. Insomma, un triangolo a tutti gli effetti, dalla trama apparentemente semplice e lineare. Se non fosse che il susseguirsi dei fatti lascia piano piano spazio alla complessità d’animo dei tre personaggi, accomunati da un segreto a volte difficile da portare.
