From 8.00 a.m. of 15 April 2009 it is possible to fill in the applications for the employment of 80,000 non-EU seasonal workers resident abroad.
Employers can resort to trade associations' help or send the employment requests themselves.
For those who do not want to make use of the help of the trade associations, the process is articulated as follows:

Registration: the employer needs to connect to the website of the
Ministry of Interior and enter the area dedicated to the 2009 seasonal flows, then enter the name, surname, date of birth, and an e-mail address and a login password. They will then receive an e-mail with the instructions to confirm and activate their own account.

Creation of forms: by entering the e-mail and password, the registered employer can access the dedicated area on the website
www.interno.it and create the forms for the employment application forms. For each form, they only need to indicate their own details and those of the non-EU workers who are going to come to Italy.

The SUI software: at this point they need to download and install on their PC the SUI software (Sportello Unico sull'Immigrazione). On this page there is a link to download the SUI version for Windows, Linux and OS and the respective user manuals.

Importing the forms: start the SUI software, ensure that the PC is connected to Internet and click on "importa i moduli elettronici nel programma" (import the electronic forms into the program). After you enter the e-mail and password, the forms that were previously activated on the website of the Ministry of Interior will be imported on your PC.

Filling in the applications: connect to Internet, go to the SUI screen and click on "visualizza domande da compilare" (view forms to fill in). At this point, you need to fill in all fields in the form (such as, type of contract to apply, characteristics of the company, accommodation of the worker, etc.) and save before sending the forms

Sending the applications: connect to Internet and start on your PC the SUI software. Click on "visualizza domande da spedire" (view the forms to send) and then send the employment application form for the seasonal workers. This operation is possible from 15 April 2008, from 8.00 a.m.
